Antonio Abreu was born in Madeira Island, Portugal. He is a Biologist, with a PhD in Marine Biology, and is currently the Director of UNESCO's Division of Ecological and Earth Sciences and Secretary of the MAB - Man and the Biosphere programme.
He is an environmental excpert, having developed scientific and consultancy activity in the areas of environmental impact assessment, environmental management, biodiversity, marine ecology, protected areas and climate change. Between 2019 and June 2023 he was a researcher and manager at the UNESCO Chair in Biodiversity and Conservation for Sustainable Development and the Centre for Functional Ecology at the University of Coimbra. Between 2022 and 2023 he was Vice-Chair of the International Coordinating Board of the UNESCO MaB Programme.

He was Regional Director of the Environment of the Regional Government of Madeira between 2000 and 2007, having previously been Director of the Municipal Museum of Funchal (Natural History) and the Funchal Marine Biology Station and Vice-President of the Madeira Science and Technology Park. At the socio-professional level, he was President of the Portuguese Chamber of Biologists between 2008 and 2014 and President of the European Countries Biologists Association. He was Vice-President of the European Environmental Advisory Councils representing the Portuguese Council for the Environment and Sustainable Development between 2015 and 2023.

Ilcheong YI is Senior Research Coordinator at UNRISD (United Nations Research Institute for Social Development) in Geneva, Switzerland. Born in the Republic of Korea, he was trained as both political scientist (B.A. and M.A. from the Dept. of Political Science, Seoul National University, the Republic of Korea) and social policy analyst (D.Phil from Oxford University, the UK). He has been researching various issues of alternative economies, social policy, and international development cooperation, in particular, the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE), measurement of sustainable development performance, and transformative social policy. Prior to joining UNRISD in 2008, he was Associate Professor of Kyushu University, Japan (2004-2008), Korean Foundation Visiting Professor, Dept. of East Asian Studies of Malaya University, Malaysia (2003-2004) and Visiting Research Fellow of the Stein Rokkan Centre, Bergen University, Norway (2002-2003).

Cho Boo Yun is a professor of Business Administration at Jeju National University and the president-elect of the Korean Production and Operations Management Society in 2024. He worked as a professor at Sookmyung Women's University and the Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is currently the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Standards, Certification and Safety, and is the vice-chairman of the Korea Entrepreneurship Society and the Korea Internet Electronic Commerce. In addition, he is a member of the Asset Management Committee of the Government Employees Pension Service and a member of the Achievement Sharing Committee of the Jeju Province Development Corporation. Recently, he worked as an evaluation member for the ESG Management Awards conducted by the Korea Management Association Consultants. He has published more than 60 papers in domestic and international journals, and is deeply interested in service operation strategies, supply chain strategies, ESG, and technology management.

Kim In-hwan was born on August 10, 1962 in Jocheon, Jeju Island, the hometown of Samdasu, and served as the first director of the Jeju Knowledge Industry Promotion Agency. After serving as the head of a local industry promotion agency for several years, smartcity@Malta (2007), Jeju Smart Grid Demonstration Project (2009), Goyang Smart City Demonstration Project (2016), Seoul Smart City Special Zone Project (2018), Jeju Smart City Challenge Project (2020), Jeju Smart Green City Project (2021), Jeju Distributed Energy Regulation Free Zone (2022), and Jeju Carbon Neutral Basic Plan (2023). Currently, while working as a researcher at Seoul National University Sustainable Development Research Institute (2017-present) and a part-time professor of environmental planning at Seoul National University Graduate School of Environmental Studies (2021-present), he focuses on carbon neutrality, sustainable regional innovation, and smart cities in the environment and energy fields. He conducts research and lectures on social innovation, SDGs, and ESG. In particular, in the field of environment and energy, technological innovations such as local technology/appropriate technology and resource circulation are combined with sustainable business in the region, and they are interested in creating sustainable regions such as solving regional problems and creating jobs through them. Chul Min Yoon was born in Seoul on April 2, 1969, graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies(Department of Trade), and earned MBA from Tulane University in the United States. He joined the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2002 and worked in the Research Division and International Division. Since March 2021, he has been in charge of ESG work to support ESG management of Korean Companies. In order to spread ESG management and provide information to small and medium-sized companies, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry has established an ESG integrated platform, 'ESG ESSUK', produced ESG A to Z training videos (total of 60), and published ‘ESG guideline book for CEOs of small and medium-sized companies. In addition, the 'ESG Management Forum' on global ESG issues is held regularly to provide insights, and the 'ESG Agenda Group', a consultative body in which the top 20 Korean Groups and Financial Groups participate, was newly established and operated as a channel for suggestions to the government.

홍종호 교수는 서울대학교 경제학과를 졸업한 후 코넬대 대학원에서 환경경제학과 재정학을 공부했다. 귀국 후 한국개발연구원(KDI) 부연구위원과 한양대학교 경제금융대학 교수를 거쳐 현재 서울대 환경대학원에서 기후·환경·에너지경제학과 지속가능발전 정책을 가르치고 있다. 서울대 환경대학원 원장, 서울대 환경계획연구소 및 지속가능발전연구소 소장, 아시아환경·자원경제학회(AAERE) 회장, 한국재정학회 회장, 한국환경경제학회 회장, , 한국경제학회 부회장, 국가 지속가능발전위원회 및 대통령 직속 재정개혁특위 위원, 세계은행 및 아시아개발은행 컨설턴트, 환경운동연합 공동대표를 역임하였다. 현재는 (사)에너지전환포럼 상임공동대표와 재)한국사회투자 고문으로 봉사하고 있다.

Hong, Jong Ho is a Professor of Economics and former Dean of the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Seoul National University (SNU). His teaching and research are focused on environmental/energy economics and sustainable economy and policy. His involvement within the school extends to serving as the former Director of the Environmental Planning Institute and the Institute for Sustainable Development. After receiving his Ph.D. at Cornell University. he held research and academic positions at Korea Development Institute (KDI) and Hanyang University. He also has broad experiences working as a consultant for international organizations, such as the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. He has previously served as the President of the Asian Association of Environmental and Resource Economics (AAERE), Korea Environmental Economics Association and Korean Association of Public Finance. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Energy Transition Forum of Korea.

Dr. Yunil Hwang, currently serves as the CTO and Executive Director of Corporate R&D External Relations at CJ Cheiljedang, a culmination of a diverse and impactful career path.

Chief Executive Officer of the Bio Business at CJ CheilJedang (2021 - March 2023), a strategic role that allowed him to make significant strides in the bio-business sector. Prior to joining CJ, Dr. Hwang held the position of Professor of Industrial Relations at Seoul National University, specializing in electric vehicles and battery technology. His previous experience includes a pivotal role at Samsung Electronics' Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT), where he led the Energy Lab, focusing on advanced Li-ion battery research and Battery Management Systems (BMS) for autonomous vehicles.

이정훈팀장은 SK(주) C&C에서 기업의 탄소규제 대응을 위한 제품탄소발자국 솔루션 개발 및 전문가 서비스를 담당하고 있다. 20년 넘는 다양한 고객을 대상으로 ICT 서비스 개발/운영 사업 경험을 바탕으로 현재는 기업에서 필요로 하는 ESG에서의 기술적 Needs를 분석하고 Edge IoT, Data Engineering/Analytics, System Integration등의 Professional Service를 바탕으로 데이터에 기반한 제품의 탄소발자국 측정 및 인증까지 전반적인 컨설팅 및 구축 서비스를 담당하고 있다.
특히나 전과정평가(Life Cycle Assessment) 방법론을 기반으로 하는 탄소배출량 측정 및 이를 통한 제조과정에서의 탄소배출량을 최적화 하기위한 생성형AI를 기반으로 하는 Vertical AI Service에 관심을 갖고 추진하고 있다.
